GLS Group has announced a complete suspension of transport services to seven Middle Eastern countries—including the UAE, Iraq, and Qatar—due to the escalating armed conflict in the region. At the same time, prolonged strikes in Italy are paralyzing the European distribution network and threatening just-in-time supply chains. The accumulation of these disruptions poses a significant risk of payment backlogs for European exporters and their creditors within the next 30 to 60 days.
